Everything that's new

Sunday, July 26, 2026
We announced the revival in the post next door; this is the guided tour. Since early June we've brought Warfare Incorporated out of retirement and rebuilt it for the modern web. No emulators, no downloads, no waiting — just open the site and play. Here's everything that's new.

Play instantly, anywhere

The Warfare Incorporated title screen in a browser.
No installer, no store, no emulator — just the title screen, in a tab.
Warfare Incorporated now runs entirely in your browser. We rebuilt the whole game from the ground up so it loads straight from the web on your laptop, phone, or tablet — nothing to install.

Want it to feel like a real app? Add it to your home screen and it installs like one. And because single-player is fully cached, you can keep playing even when you're offline — on a plane, on the subway, wherever. The game also quietly updates itself in the background, so you're always on the latest version.

Multiplayer is live again

A multiplayer battle: blue and red units engaged near a base, HUD and minimap visible.
Online battles are running again for the first time since 2022.
The servers are back on, and online battles are running once more.

Your account, your profile, your rank

Create your own account in seconds with self-service registration. There's a proper My Profile screen, a real Sign Out, and the game remembers you so you're not typing your password every time you sit down to play. A native leaderboard is built right in, and playing anonymously no longer reveals your real name to anyone.

Build and share your own missions

The classic mission editor is back — as a full web-based editor. Design maps, script objectives with a plain-language mission-logic editor, and import classic mission packs with full fidelity.

The best part: hit Play and test your map instantly, right inside the editor. When it's ready, publish it to the community for everyone to download and play.

A real community hub

warfareincorporated.com is live again with a fresh look, a blog, and a mission-authoring guide. Inside the game, the new Community view brings the leaderboard, recent games, and player profiles together in one place — and you can watch replays without ever leaving the game. Browse community missions, like the ones you love, see what's popular, and report anything that shouldn't be there. The old forum is preserved too — a read-only archive of all 38,000 posts — alongside our subreddit at r/WarfareIncorporated.

Relive every battle

Every game can be recorded, replayed, and analyzed. The replay viewer runs right in your browser with play/pause, variable speed, per-side fog-of-war, a timeline of key moments, and an economy graph so you can see exactly where a match was won or lost.

Sharper controls and smoother play

Great on mobile

The full UI scales to a phone in landscape — how you actually play an RTS on mobile.
We put serious work into the phone experience: iOS audio is fixed (no more silent battles), no more accidental pinch-zoom, a larger touch UI, and a HUD that respects the iPhone notch and safe areas. The game also pauses politely when you switch tabs.
In short: Warfare Incorporated is fully playable in your browser, online multiplayer is back with AI opponents, you can build and share missions, and you can relive every battle in the replay viewer. Jump in at play.warfareincorporated.com — we'll see you on the battlefield.
